Super Camp Africa 2025 launches in Kenya, names Tope “Teddy A” Adenibuyan as host

Nairobi, Kenya — Sept. 27, 2025: The organizers of Super Camp Africa, a new 100-day pan-African football reality program, have announced a Kenya launch and confirmed Nigerian entertainer Tope “Teddy A” Adenibuyan as the show’s host. The production team says the residential base for training and filming will be at Mashuuru Sports Complex in Kajiado County, south of Nairobi.

According to official statements, Super Camp Africa blends elite football training with cultural storytelling, bringing together emerging players from across the continent for trials, mentorship, and showcase matches over a 100-day schedule. Recent updates included travel footage of the crew and players arriving in East Africa ahead of the Kenya kickoff.

Host confirmed

In an announcement this week, Super Camp Africa introduced Tope Adenibuyan—widely known to TV audiences as “Teddy A”—as the official host for the 2025 edition. Adenibuyan is a Nigerian-American entertainer and former Big Brother Naija housemate, now bringing his cross-industry experience in entertainment and sports culture to the role.

Kenya base at Mashuuru Sports Complex

Organizers highlighted Mashuuru Sports Complex as the official home of the camp, describing the facility as ideal for a long-stay, closed-camp format. Mashuuru features residential accommodation, training pitches, and multi-sport courts designed for tournaments and camps—amenities expected to support the show’s intensive daily program.

Format and scale

Promotional materials describe Super Camp Africa as a 100-day program with a pan-African roster. The format will feature rigorous football training, cultural activities, community engagement, and talent showcases. Media and project marketing are being handled through official partners, with the program aiming to combine both a sporting competition and a cultural exchange platform.

Partners and logistics

Beyond the venue and media partners, the organizers also named an official travel partner to manage logistics for movement across East Africa during the season. Nairobi is being positioned as the “gateway” city for the first edition’s launch, giving the show both visibility and access to a wide football-loving audience.

What’s next

A formal press conference and detailed release—covering the player roster, competing nations, episode structure, and broadcast schedule—are expected in the coming weeks. While earlier teasers referenced Rwanda as part of initial planning, the latest confirmation places Kenya as the official launch hub for the inaugural season.
